Prior to joining Northwoods Partners, Jay served as Executive Vice President at ImageFIRST for more than 13 years. As a key member of the leadership team, he played a pivotal role in transforming the company into the largest provider of healthcare linen services in the U.S. Before that, Jay spent 17 years at Cintas Corporation, where he held multiple leadership and executive positions.
Jay brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, operational excellence, and results-driven execution. He is also highly skilled in M&A activity, having led or supported dozens of acquisitions—from early-stage due diligence through to full integration.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Media Management from Miami University (Ohio).

In April 2025, Northwoods Partners acquired a majority stake in Alerion Door & Glass.
Pearle Vision is a leading regional eyecare provider operating eight (8) Pearle Vision franchise locations in the rural NJ/NY market. Pearle Vision was ranked the #1 health franchise in North America by Entrepreneur magazine in 2018. The Company provides comprehensive eyecare services (>44% of sales) and prescribes contacts / glasses (<56% of sales).
In 2021, Northwoods Partners acquired a minority stake in Pearle Vision in partnership with Riviera Capital Partners.

Founded in 1991, Island Master Locksmith is a diverse security solutions company with over 3,500 customers throughout the Northeast including bank branches, corporations, commercial, industrial, and institutions. Island Master Locksmith specializes in vault and safety deposit preventative maintenance as well as door repair and servicing.
In April 2023, Northwoods Partners acquired a majority stake in Island Master Locksmith.
H2O Power Equipment Company is Colorado’s largest full service industrial Pressure Washer, Parts Washer, Waste Oil Heater, and Industrial Wash Bay/Water Recycling company. H2O Power Equipment has been an industry leader for over 25 years and specializes in distributing environmentally friendly products.
